It showed it but didn't display it. This was last year. Just updated today,but haven't tried it again. I have to remount it back on bike this weekend.

 

Let me know how the new PV update works out. I am yet to mount my PV and will let you know if my gear gauge works once I get it on the bike. The firmware was updated by DK Customs before they shipped it, but that is the first step of the install process so I verified that it was the latest version.

 

I have a Dakota Digital Speedometer on mine,so it wasn't that big of a deal. Still it would be nice for it to work. One thing I learned about Auto Tune is it retards your timing 4% and puts the whole map at 14.6 which is very lean. My bike ran terrible while auto timming and ran very hot. It also had alot of Decel pop. So be careful not to run it to hard.Once I flashed the new tune it ran great again.

 

I keep my PV mounted on my RK all the time. The gear indicator works for me without a problem. Had the system explained to me and the videos. help.

 

I wonder if its just the Sportsters it wont on. I called Fuel Moto and that's what I was told.

@capttxrngr - be sure it doesn't walk away when you are not with your bike for any length of time....not cheap to replace.

Plan to stick mine in my jacket pocket for the brief time I'll be riding with it.

 

I mounted mine, routed the cable to hide it and strap it nicely in place... plan was to run the Autotune... that was a year ago and still everything in place (I do remove it when I leave the bike anywhere outside) and have not done the Autotune
