I mounted mine, routed the cable to hide it and strap it nicely in place... plan was to run the Autotune... that was a year ago and still everything in place (I do remove it when I leave the bike anywhere outside) and have not done the Autotune
I've heard the auto-tune tends to be lean. I figure to just load the tune I got from FuelMoto/DK, log a bit, tweak it manually, lather rinse, repeat until its right.
Forgot to mention... there is a nicer mount that comes with a visor... I got that one afterwards for the Road King... would look much better on the Sportster than the one I have there now.

Good to know. Was not aware of that. Right now I am just running with the tune that came from FuelMoto. Bike runs great (maybe why I have been so lazy to use the other functions of the PV) but I just want to play with the Autotune to learn how to use the darn thing...

Don't take that as gospel, I'm still in the early stages of learning about the PV. Just got it in hand....
Wideband is probably the way to go if you have or plan to have more than stage 1 mods.
My PV package came with the new mount and visor (quick release) bracket. Waiting for my chrome handlebar mount to position and camouflage the mount in front of the speedo.
