We did check the wiring as well did Harley.
I do have a factory service manual as well.
My 2000 was doing that before the ignition module finally got real bad.
It ran good, but would chug for a split second, not very often.
Checking the wiring, the coil, wires, plugs found nothing.
Read your service manual on checking the module.
Remove the cover, run it to op temp, then use a hair dryer and heat the module up. It may show if the module is bad or not.
The manual tells how to do it. Worth checking so you know.

I ziptie them in the fuse box area for use later if needed down the road. Cheap insurance.
Hi, the 2 main fuses looked pretty fine. I changed their position any way. Let's see if this affects anything.

I would also check the crank position sensor...there really is only one wayto check it and that is to replace it...but it is relatively cheap..

Just like your carb statement, There is no ignition module in the late model. The ignition coil is controled by the ecm

I've been having a similar issue with my '14 Low Rider. It's gotten so bad that it now cuts out consistently while I'm riding regardless of RPM. It's at the dealership today so hopefully they can diagnose and solve the issue. Once I hear back from them I'll let you know what they found out.

Just heard back from the dealership. After 3 days, and having to get the Master Tech involved they finally figured out the issue. The bolt on the ground wire was a tad bit too long so even though it was tight it was allowing some play in the connection. This caused it to throw all sorts of error codes and the continuous dying. They replaced the bolt and it runs great again. Picking it up after work to enjoy a great weekend of riding. Not sure if this will help with your issues but it may be worth looking into. They said they checked all sorts of other things before they figured this out. Best of luck!
