I'd be more inclined to try it if it wasn't called Sea Foam.

Hey everyone!
There is a lot of great conversation about ethanol and fuel additives. We also wanted to clear up some confusion about ethanol related issues and add some points about using fuel additives for the right situation.
First, ethanol does gets bad press when it comes to fuel, however with proper fuel maintenance, a lot of the headaches associated with ethanol blended fuels can be reduced.
Although E0 is generally preferred in marine and small engine circles, modern engines are developed to meet performance and durability targets with E10 gasoline. E10 gasoline is approved and warrantied by major engine manufacturers from Small engine through Marine and Automotive. Proper fuel management is all that is needed to successfully utilize E10 fuel with little or no issue.
One of the biggest issues with ethanol blended fuels is the shelf life. Fuel does begin to break down quicker now of days (can be as littleas 30 days), however using a high quality fuel stabilizer will keep that fuel fresh and avoid gum/varnish buildup due to extended fuel storage.
Additionally, while older components are more susceptible to breaking down due to ethanol, virtually all components (gaskets, rubber hoses, etc.) in new equipment is built to be compatible with ethanol blended fuels (at least up to E10).
Finally, when it comes to fuel additives, be sure to do some research before making a purchase. Some products out there have far reaching claims and the further reaching those claims are the less likely they are to perform any single claim well. What you want to use is a product that makes specific, reasonable claims when it comes to today's fuel.
If you have any fuel related questions, feel free to comment or shoot us a PM.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I PM'd last year about some samples, and never heard back, so at least someone's out there.
