So, I came indoors and put it on eBay.... (UK bidders only please!)

I'll be looking to fit the black round 72 bobber cover and SE filter next.
Bloater, your project is coming along. Sorry about the SE filter problem. I've had good luck with all SE products, and fitted my HBO to my Softail by myself. And I know nothing about mechanical devices!

Some of your pics show cloudless skies. I've never been to England in those conditions. Save some sun for early fall. I'll be there Sept 29!

Good riding..

I put the Harley bobber cover on mine, had it powder coated wrinkle black. I used black vinyl tape for the upper forks.
when you get bored, or when its raining, get a small can of black paint and paint the nuts and bolts on the fender rails, sprocket, fork, ect..., makes a big difference.

Thanks - bobber cover looks great - as does the black vinyl for the upper forks.

Mine is just coming up to 915 miles now.

Don't be misled - the Shortshots with standard baffles are loud

It sounded bloody loud to me! Bike looked really torquey though!

Did I see a sign for Canewdon? I haven't been out that way for years! If you fancy it, we should take a ride out to Maldon or Burnham one evening. Well, as long as you agree to wait for me, mr torquemonster!

Oh yes - has a nice handful of torque - I am probably losing some with the Shortshots but I'm not going to notice it - especially as I have to slow down for bends

Ashingdon to Hockley via Canewdon.

Yes, that sounds good - will sort something out.

Thanks man.

Wow - funny isn't it - seeing you're from Ohio I would have said exactly the same - you have amazing roads in the U.S.
