My new clamp will be here tomorrow. Still need help on figuring out how far into the bracket the upper mount needs to go.

 

I think what would help me most would be a measurement from the top edge of the lower fork mount to the bottom edge of the upper fork mount. Anyone able to help me out?

 

Got this on today. Will test first rainless day.

 

Got to ride for an hour or so this morning before the rain started. this thing definitely helps with the wind buffeting at highway speeds. It doesn't eliminate it but it lessens it quite a bit, moves it upwards towards my face which is an improvement. I feel like I'm getting less vibration in the bars too. All in all, a success I think!
