Red face 883 Exhaust Baffles?

My 1996 883 has HUGE pipes on it for some reason. They are 2 1/8" ID and 2 1/4" OD drag pipes. From what I've read, this is WAY over stock size. I don't know why they are on there, but that's what it came with when I got it. Recently, the baffles inside started rattling so I took a look at them. One was completely missing and the other was broken off the mounting screw and rattling around. I took it out because it was just obnoxious and getting on my nerves.

My question is: Should I try to get baffles for it? If so, where can I get baffles that large??? Would it be better to buy smaller pipes instead? I know I probably need baffles for backpressure, but I can't find any that would fit.

Please help!!

EDIT: I started snooping around and I THINK it has the V&H Dual Staggered Straight Shots on it. The size and look appear to the be same. I guess I'll shop for baffles for those.

I looked into them. $130 for the ones I want and they are closed until July 23rd. I ended up ordering the V&H Quiet Baffles (21869) from DennisKirk. Read around on different forums and a few people said they fit the original StraightShots.

Even if you install the quiet baffles, you will get a bit deeper tone, AND more low and mid range power by adding the Thunder Torque Inserts.

Check out the link above on the vids for sound, and the charts at the bottom to see the power increase.
