hi just joined ..
i have a harley sportster 2000 model it is second hand and has a clutch problem in first gear some times when im pulling off in first gear it's like it jumps out of gear and back into gear causing the gears to slam what is causing this.... also i have noticed on a long run (about an hours ride) that the gears start to get hard to engage this is all the gears has anyone had this problem and if so did they fix it... its got about 16 thou on clock

 

Make sure you have enough primary fluid in there. Maybe even try changing it out if you don't know when it's been done last.
