Just google "Harley fiche" and you'll wind up at Ronnie's HD or something like that. Works like a charm.

Or here: http://www.ronnies.com/micro.htm

I use them a lot.

Yes it shows me how the mounts end up near teh engine and most importantly how the brake rod attaches to the master cylinder. I have to lengthen that rod and add an eyelet to it to fit the earlier MC set up. So yes very helpful. Still need to know the length of the pre 2014 brake rod but may end up just buying the thing!!

Posties been. I now have all the parts and will find out soon if the 2014 onwards forwards can be made to fit on the earlier models with off the shelf parts and no fabrication required....

Fail! I have an old saying and that is "Sometimes the longest way is the shortest way in the long run"! I should take notice of myself!

In short, yes the brake rod fits, but it is really fiddly unscrewing it with a 1/4" spanner into a star screwdriver bit thingy. Then of course you have to do it up again. I suspect this would have been quicker if I'd just removed the front header?

Anyway, that was all done and i knew that was he fiddly side, so I was thinking I was about 20 minutes away from teh whole lot being done, assuming teh gear lever side does fit okay.

But where it goes wrong is Harley have changed the clevis pin on the 2014 onwards models and so the foot pegs aren't interchangeable!

This has actually really bolloxed me up! I now have to remove and refit the mid peg so the bike is usable, whilst I decide what pegs to get and where from. Jersey HD dont even list parts for the later models??? So I cant even see how much OEM ones are if I want to go that route? I'll have to have a hunt around and see if anyone has changed theirs foe something other than oems or stump up the cash for brand new ones?

The annoying thing is I finish work friday and dont go back until september and was hoping to have this all done and ready for when I wanted to go out for a ride. Oh well, best laid plans and all that! ;D

Bummer...

Are you referring to this bit?

So, the forward controls fit the frame but the rubber foot peg bit from your bike doesn't fit in the newer black bit that bolts to the frame??
