oh and toke the bike out this saturday(26/9) dealer open house with the new 2016 model´s first stop was 15km from me, with 2 buddie´s nice music and cheap food, then i went alone to custom cycle 140km away, it´s been along time since i road with just small direktions so my 280km trip got to be 400km, a total off 420/430km that day, my legs where shoot, hope the RK and monotube plus maybe a 2016 seat would help that problem, my plan is to ride to hamburg harley days next year
but iam now in the group that has lost a battery cover
the dealer is going to pay for a new one, they insist they don´t fall off with the new clips but iam going to drill a hole at put a strips in when it comes.

so just got back from the dealer, only did a short 15km ride home, but the weather seams so get better so ill head out again for more testing.
but there is now no rider sag on the front end, it does go down when applying the front brake but not as much as before plus now i have the full front travel, before i only had about 50% as i weigh around 150kg, we put 7 spacer in each side and bel ray 10w oil as recomended by progressive.
the mechanic at the dealer toke the first ride he like´s the front end being hard but he also said normaly when doing heavy oil and springs they get back up real slow, the monotube kit goes back up(out) asap. he said it´s alot better then just springs and oil.
my thought´s are just what i wanted maybe alittle better, the rear shocks don´t have to work so hard cause the front is totaly stabil, bumps are 200% better now can´t wait to get the RK rear shocks back from the painter
when the fork´s where off i got the black covers looks alot better now
thumps up on the monotube kit from progressive very glad i payed extra compared to just springs
how do you like my batteri cover dealer plastic bag, since the cover is on back order
Regards
RIX

Did ride abit more that afternoon, and today i Even testet on a few speed bumps it has totally transformed the bike i think that a normal size person would like the rear std. Shocks now cause it is that much better i now tend to ride 10-15 miles per hour faster then before regards rix

Sounds like its hit the spot. Cant say i'm that happy with my inmtimnators, to be honest. I think i'll try some other springs in mine but may have to go for the set up you have if that doesn't work out.

expensive to get springs and then later on monotube kit??????
the problem with just springs is you may have to go so thik with the oil and springs that it is just not useabel on the street, especial with my wieght.

I have intiminators which control the damping with 5wt oil but the compression is still harsh. I like progressive rate springs for the absorbtion of smaller bumps, so may fit a set of them. I don't push a bike hard and am really just looking for a compliant ride.

just got back from the dealer, the side cover finally came in so got it fitted with new clips and they drilled a small hole for me cause i wanted it. the seller keeps saying they don´t fall off he he. no biggie got everything on warrenty.
wail waiting i rode there 2016 48 with vance and hines competion exhaust, man iam thinking off getting one. but thru a german compagnie with euro 3 cat so it´s not to loud. i told the seller to take my bike for a ride so he could try the new monotube setup. he came back saying it´s alot better then just springs he then laugh it goes dead straight at 100km/h and no hands.
he was really amazed how well my little sportster ride´s now.
will go for a ride tomorrow even though it´s only 10/12 degrese celcius out side
like that my bike is complet again
regards
