Default ABS manifold

Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone out there with an abs equipped sportster can help me. I just finished installing a new front brake line and i have a question regarding the abs manifold under the bottom triple tree.

Is it ment to move with the tree when you steer or does it rotate freely as you steer?

Any chance someone can check theirs and tell me?

Much appreciated!

Luke.

It is normal for that manifold on all bikes to be clamped tight in place, the flexible hoses above and below provide all the moving. If it moves when turning the forks then the lines are likely to rub against parts of the bike.
