honestly could be a tire especially if it skidded or scraped on the pavement.

I've had an older worn tire cause a little wobble if I let go of the bars before. But I would get forks checked out by a mechanic. It doesnt take but a degree out of alignment or one fork tube slightly higher in the tree to start causing problems.

I do have an appointment with a local HD dealer to verify the alignment. I spoke with one of the service techs (at a different HD dealer) walking him through what I did. He agreed with me and said he would've done the same exact thing to fix the alignment (if the forks/triple trees are not bent).

Make an appt with an attorney. Tell him your story and then proceed from there. You need legal advice from a professional. The cager may be 55% responsible for the accident - which may mean that he is 100% responsible for all losses including pain and suffering.

What made you think you could trust anyone who lied from the start.

Always report an accident & file a police report. It's for your protection. You learned the hard way.
