Default My new to me 48

I got my 48 a couple of weeks ago. I bought it used with just over a 100 miles on it. I have had a lot of bikes over the years with this being my third HD. I love this bike. So much fun to ride and the 48 just looks killer. I have done a few upgrades like pegs and grips and a license plate relocation from figure machine. Next up is an exhaust, tuner and air cleaner! There are a lot of great looking bikes in these threads I love seeing them and learning!!

Finally had some time to get some better pics and had a few mods completed! New pipes and an RSD air cleaner. I also used the Vance and Hines FP3. What a difference on how the bike runs and the sound is just right! Is it normal that the fuel light comes on at about 65 miles? I need to really figure how far i can go soon. We are just getting into our kick *** riding weather so looking forward to putting in some rides.

The best looking motorcycle in production to my eyes. This one has all the right upgrades.
You gonna get more compliments on this one than your other two. Congrats!

Oh and yes it's normal for the light to come on at about 60 miles.. I keep going further and further on a tank to see.. My guess is somewhere around 80 miles to a tank

Not sure of mileage on the new ones, my '68 would go about 85 to 90 miles on a tank.
