I have a 2008 nightster 1200n that the low fuel light has been on since I bought it used. I recently purchased the speedo tach combo part #70900274 and the fuel level sensor required to make the range option active. Sensor installed by harley dealer and I did the speedo. Low fuel light came on right away and fuel range function does not work on new speedo. Any suggestions?

 

Welcome and put some gas in it.Just kidding.I think you need to revisit your Harley Dealer with the problem since they installed the fuel level sensor and take your speedo/tach instructions with you on calibration of the unit.

 

But have you tried hitting it?

 

my bike did the same thing I put a piece of black electrical tape over the light and have never had a issue since ....seriously.. check the wire to the sensor, it is prolly not good..
