yeah, like I said, not gonna happen.

 

That being said, not against white walls, just has to be the right overall theme... bike/accessories.

And I definitely understand the temptation to save $.

 

Yeah, I know...
I bought my "Custom" with the intent of slowly converting it to the "72" look (I love 72's) which included white wall tires. I had intended on going with the HD 10'' mini apes, round AC and a solo seat, but man, I just can't do the white walls ON MY BIKE.

 

Personally, I think the white walls would look ****ing rad. Like A+ badass. Especially, with the red paint. Getting a pair mounted on my black 09 XL1200 Low. Can't wait.

FWIW... Traded that bike for a "72" and loved everything about it, including the white walls.


My dad died last year and I inherited his sporty and had to make some HARD choices. Didn't have enough room to keep both so I had to let go of the 72. Miss that bike every day.

 

Man…that 72 is a beauty. Too bad you had to let her go but you have an heirloom with the other one…which is very cool.

 

They looked good on Pee wee Herman's bike

 

They looked tacky, cheesy, like trying too hard on my 1200–as soon as I bought it I changed the front and painted the rear.
