The link you provided in your OP does not look like the OEM gasket. The OEM gasket looks totally different.

Since the request about the exhaust port gasket is similar to the OP, need to ask those who have installed SE exhaust port gaskets like the pics below.

The next two pics is how it looked after I installed it.....was definitely easy to install as the HD parts guy said. Is this how it is supposed to be installed in the cylinder....all the way against the back ledge. Does this look right? Just wondering since the OEM gasket was a lot wider and came out to the outer edge of the cylinder.

Thanks Sootylad, It showed the two gaskets (i.e. OEM and flat ring) that can be used. He installed OEM gasket but did not show the installation of the flat ring gasket (the one I installed).

Well strangely enough I have a pair of the stock tapered gaskets to fit today, thought the se ones looked a bit thin? I've also got new crossover pipe gaskets to fit. The port gaskets cost me £16 from HD but have seen tips about putting them in freezer first as will shrink a bit and harden to make fitting easier. Also check your exhaust retaining rings as noticed one of mine was badly corroded so another trip to HD!
Gonna walk the dogs and have a brew then get started so will let you know!

Yup, also got new retaining rings, interconnect gaskets, and flange nuts. I had a snap tool for the retaining rings on the footpegs and clevis mount (has small holes at the ends of the ring), but it is not the same as the flange retaining ring (has no holes and its angled)....so need to go find a tool with a wider surface. Gee every upgrade that I've been doing seems to require a special tool...the tools cost more than the upgrade...haha

Good luck with your install....hope the freezer method works for you.

Looks like a flat ring gasket...are the gaskets in my pics above the same as how you installed yours?
