97 sportster won't crank
This morning my sporty started up just fine but, a couple hours later I tried to start it again and nothing. After turning on the key the odometer is the only thing to come on (I didn't look at the headlight though). The oil pressure light and neutral light don't come on. There is no response at all when trying to start the bike (no clicking or any attempt to turn over). I did make sure the run switch was on and I always pull in the clutch when starting. Suggestions? I'll dig through my manual later today when I get home.
A little background on this bike. I rebuilt the starter solenoid and replaced the battery about 3 weeks ago and it has been running great ever since. I ride to and from school several times a day about 2 miles, so lots of short trips.

Well, I finally had time to look into the problem. Tracked it down to the ignition switch. After I found the problem; I remembered a couple years ago the switch was acting up and you would have to turn the switch several times to get the lights to come on. I had bought a new switch back then but, before I installed it the issue disappeared. Anyway I popped the new switch on and it starts right up again! Thanks for the suggestions.
