Default Extending Forks - Anything To Watch Out For?

i've been doing some research into this and i think i've arrived at the decision to go +8" over on the forks, and then add 3 degree rake yokes (triple trees) to get the look I want. Ive seen all sorts of other combos, with +10 and no rake, to lots of rake. I've copied some images below, the first of which is +8 length and 3 deg rake, which is what I'm after. I don't want the engine to sit too high. Ive just got some burly slammer shocks for the rear.

I was advised to get the hard chrome tubes, instead of show chrome. obviously i'll need extended brake line. Anything else?

These are the yokes i was thinking of for my '72:

as long as you've done the math on the geometry, I say go for it.
