Default Where can I get a larger tank for my Sporty!

I am customizing a '98 model 1200 for my 19 y.o. and we are looking for a larger tank. A rounded style, not a peanut style. Something like a Fat Bob size tank for it.

Any suggestions?

BTW, also looking for fenders too. Maybe a bit shorter.

Here is the bike now (we have put a solo seat on it)...

You could try a Google for "Mustang Tank". I don't know how big you can get them.

http://www.jpcycles.com/1998-harley-...200c/gas-tanks

Looks like they have a few 4+ gallon options.

*This part is not compatible with 1998 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom Anniversary XLH1200C.

Certain older Sportsters had such a tank. Are you looking for a new or secondhand one?

I laugh at myself. If you Googled "mustang tank", I bet you'd get a lot of car parts, too. The ones I'm thinking of are definitely for motorcycles, rounded shape, usually have a filler-neck that's off-center and hold, probably, 3 to 5 gallons.
Good luck.
