I may just put it in a plastic bag and in my coat pocket. On the hotter days maybe just in my jeans. Thanks everyone, all great ideas.

In my wallet. Suggest keeping title at home and not storing registration, insurance, safety check where it can easily walk away.

Biltwell makes a tube that attaches to the back of your license plate holder, it's on their site under accessories

You could always tell the cop to look that Chit up in his computer when they ask, it coincides with your license plate that they already ran. Making you present a piece of paper is just part of the game that THEY play.In the world of technology that we live in, carrying and presenting pieces of paper other that DL /Identification is kind of silly really.

P.S. I was kidding about taking the left grip off and storing it in the handlebar tube.

Who would do that?

i don't carry mine. best bet is the ziplock glued/taped to the battery cover.

i've only gotten pulled over on my bike once and the officer was so shocked by me outright admitting, with a huge smile on my face, to riding like a bat outta hell that he kinda didn't care. he took my license and came back with a ticket that i happily earned. i have Maryland tags on all but the dyna (waiting on the MD tag to get here) and i've been getting away with murder!

Yes, they can just run the tag and it may seem silly to many of us, but many states have laws requiring the registration be carried or kept with the vehicle. If the cop wants to be a hard-***, not having the registration with you can earn you a second ticket.

Just sayin.

I keep my reg. and ins. cards right next to my DL. Have to show all three, no good reason for having them in different locations...
