48 seat on a 2006 XL1200R. Will it fit?
Hi everyone,
long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm really liking the look of the 48 seat, but I'm unsure if it would fit my Roadster.
I called 2 Harley dealerships. 1 said it would fit, the other said it wouldn't.
I know there's an issue with the 2007 to 2009 models. The ecm which is under the seat would have to be relocated, but no one is able to advise me if it's the same issue with a 2006 model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ICM relocated.
Not my bike.
As you can see, the bottom of the 48 saddle is flat, without a cut-out for your ICM in its factory location, but you already know that.
This is the rear fender and rear mounting tab of the 48 saddle sitting on top of the ICM (factory location). It looks like the seat would settle down and match up to the fender hole, if the ICM weren't there. This is on a 2005 Custom model, that has a 4.5 gallon tank (this is my bike).
