Just bought a DK Custom solo seat kit with all the bells and whistles for my 09 XL1200C and the instructions either suck or I'm a dope. Anyway I need help with the install. The factory instructions are in 5 different bags with no way to tell what to do first and no pictures. I'd like to get instructions like step1, step 2, step 3 etc. Assistance from anyone having any experience with these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

 

DK's instructions are simple and meant for dopes...lol just joking. DK's customer service is one of the best...you will get quick and accurate answers from them so suggest you either pm Kevin or email at Support@DKCustomProducts.com or call them at 662-420-4891 . They will be more than happy to get you set up. I email all the time since I buy a lot of stuff from them....but don't think they work on weekends.

I'm also willing to help, but can you share what you've got so far... and if any of it is installed? Rather than rattle off a step-by-step, it might be easier to start with step 1 and go from there.

We have many different solo seats and the directions are different for each. Whichever one you gotten, we'll be happy to help.

All of them are less than a 1 hour install...unless you get a leather kit and are going to be doing your own custom cover.
