Cvaria's 2007 883 Standard (XLCN): Consolidated Thread of Nonsense (Working)

The instructions are fairly short - no type of synthetic is recommended.
Believe the instructions recommend "a lightweight petroleum based oil" or
even ATF Type F or B&M TrickShift.
Funny how some folks quote vendors recommendations (that they agree
with) on some parts, yet disregard other vendors recommendations
(when they disagree with them)....
FWIW, I'm going to try plain-Jane Ford ATF Type F initially. We'll see
how it works out.

I was also going to go with the E1 plates. I saw that they don't recommend synth oil. I put synth in with the OE clutch and have had 0 problems. Is the E1 made from different material and more susceptible to slipping?

Hard to find any vendor with the SP versions, so I'll probably go
with AlloyBoltz.

I've eye'd those AlloyBoltz up more than once. I keep telling myself it's for when I run out of the "important stuff" to do.
