Default I want a lady in pubic and a ***** in the bedroom

I would like to go louder on my bike but only on the weekends. I ride to work during riding season and leave at 7 am so I don't want to blast my neighbors. I have the stock mufflers on still that I drilled out with a 3/4 hole. It sounds great and not too loud in the mornings. When the weekend hits and I leave at 9 or 10 I would't be concerned about being louder.

So my question, is it do able to buy a set of slip-ons or another set of stock mufflers and gut them and swap them out on the weekends???

Is it a pain in the *** job and would I be wearing out the bolt and mounts switch back and forth???

Thanks

Patriot defenders have an adjustment valve that you can use to open it up.

This was the first thing that came to my mind for ease to change between quiet to loud. I even saw one where someone fitted a little electric actuator connected to a switch so they could change it while riding. Maybe a little overboard for the amount of work that went into custom fitting it but I could see where that would be nice after riding away from the parking next to the neighbor and open it up.

Supertrapp 2 into 1. Add or delete baffle disks as you like. However, even on an FI bike the fuel mixture could vary between lean and rich depending on the baffle configuration.

I have 2 into 1s on both my bikes and I leave early in the mornings on weekends. I start the bike and ride away slowly, right away. Nobody has ever complained but then again, everybody on the block knows my garage is the place to show up if their car has trouble or needs an oil change.

Its an easy 20 minute job (even if you take your time). Just wait a while after your ride to change 'em back!

Love that idea but really don't like the looks.

Most (all?) slip ons have removable baffles. You could get some "quiet" and "loud" baffles, or on the weekend just take the baffles out and replace with a torque insert like DK customs sells.
