I have one on my shovel chop. Heavy traffic is easy to ride through with it, Just like have a stick shift. no stress on the hands. as far as emergencies and needing to stop get better brakes. it the same as if you have a normal set up. I dont normally pull the clutch in and downshift and brake. I pull the clutch and brake

Been toying with this idea for a while.
Think the ideal set up would be jockey shift with quick shifter ignition cut, so you can shift without clutching, and a centrifugal clutch so it disengages automatically at less than 1500 revs. Think I'd still have a foot clutch, just in case the centri packs up.
Exile cycles has all this kit, and an open belt kit that goes with the centri clutch kit.

I'm with Guzzi on this. If you're putting it on a low & slow Softail cruiser or the like, sure they look cool and can be fun. But if you like performance riding, they suck! Simple as that.

I guess that could be done, but you will need to practice with that setup and hope you have a strong enough ankle that will be able to hold the clutch in while stopped at a light and for take off. I have seen where the clutch lever is attached to the Jockey shift for convenience.

He performed stunt shows standing on the seat of his builds, and also lost his life doing said stunts. May he rest in peace.
Find an average joe , and they will never be able to do what Indian Larry was capable of.
