yup, leather shorts. he almost got shot over them. we were out running around baltimore and the locals were confused about the sexuality of a man in leather shorts. one thing led to another, next thing we know fists are flying and guns are drawn, hands raising.... kicked out again. lol

this was 1999/2000. the "element" in pittsburgh were wearing leather shorts, white tees, and white ni ke airs
.

edit: to clarify, these were not reno 911 leather shorts. they were cut like jean shorts and came in white, black, tan, and a few other colors. they were a running joke for him thoughout our 5 year of school

Chippewa 25410 Super Loggers. There isn't a better boot made anywhere in the world. Be ready for fork out $250+ if not on sale. I won't own another boot period. I'm pushing 3 years on my last pair and they are as comfortable as slippers.

I ride year round, heat, cold, rain, snow. I'm in my fourth year on the same pair of boots, well over 100,000 miles of riding in them.

Harley-Davidson Mens Lynx Waterproof Boots

They are waterproof, unlike many that I've tried that advertised waterproof, these really are. Comfortable for me.

Not hot in the summer, and I've been up to the Arctic Circle in them...really good in cold weather too.

Easy to put on and take off. I shopped around a lot and have been very pleased with these.

Cool

The first couple months I started riding I would just wear my Ariat cowboy boots. After reading up on motorcycle ankle injuries I decided I might need a little more protection so I started searching for riding boots. What I ended up with were the Icon 1000 Elisnore Boots. They were kinda pricey ($245) but I love the look and the technical construction and they are super comfortable after a short (two weeks-ish) break in period.

I have an old pair of Harley engineer boots that I bought in 1980. They will not wear out and I wear them for yard work and sometimes riding. I have a pair of Harley "Houston" (I think) boots that I finally wore out. I recently bought a pair of Chippewa engineer boots which I really like and for serious very long trips I have a pair of Sidi Adventure Rain boots. These are expensive but I don't think you can find a more protective boot and it is also waterproof and quite comfortable. I also have a pair of Wesco Patrol boots which are excellent quality but I never wear them because they are just too heavy.

I had not thought about it before but I have almost as many damn boots as I have leather jackets. But then I also have three motorcycles.

N'at is and-that. A useless word. "Let's go down Primanti Bros and watch the Pens game n'at".

Ahhh yes. Brings back memories when I lived in Audubon. Asked a coworker, one time, where he was going and he said "Pumpin' arn".
