Stay away from those little 4" air cleaners, they don't flow enough air for a 1200.

not sure about that, maybe that is true, but i know alot of people run 4" a/c. I just switched didnt notice a difference. a/c are all similar so i see no need to spend hundreds.

this one is pretty cool for the price!

You can't do much better than a Hammer performance air cleaner. I love mine.

1... it's on the internet, it must be true....
2... opinions are like a***oles.

the 425 or any clear like it will provide MOST engines with more air than they need.

I recently bought a 2016 Roadster also and did the full "stage 1" upgrades or paid the Harley tax as they used to say.

I went with Rush 3" slip on mufflers with 1.75" baffle openings. These pipes sound great and are not so loud that you need ear plugs on longer rides. I put the trusted standard Screaming Eagle stage 1 air cleaner on it....it flows fine for a stock motor. Then I bought the V&H Fuel Pak module and auto tuned the bike. It runs significantlly different and for the better.

These bikes are still too muffled and choked up to be enjoyed for long as they come from the factory. There is something to be said for keeping it stock for a while, but I prefer to enjoy the bike to the fullest and doing these stage 1 upgrades are a necessity to bring out the full flavor of the bike. Just like a good wine can enhance even the best steak.

They are paid advertisers & post their products on posts when people are looking to buy stuff.
