Xl1200L seat?
So I'm new to this forum and riding as well. Finally did it bought me a HARLEY! 07 1200 low. Really like the bike but looking to upgrade the seat. Looking for a solo seat that is of quality but could also set me lower to the ground maybe. im only 5'1 160 put 1500 miles on her already sorta tip toeing her with no problems but would still like to flat foot her if possible with out changing suspension. Any have suggestions? Kinda thinking about saddle men renegade heels down solo.
Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum and to riding.
Perhaps lower the bike along with a low profile seat to be able to plant your feet. I use burly slammer kit to lower the bike and mustang wide tripper solo. Burly slammer has 10.5" shocks...your stock on the Low is 11.5 so it will lower your bike 1". The fork springs will also lower your front end 1". You could also use lowering blocks with better shocks with more travel such as progressive to accomplish the same with more comfort.
Good luck!....fun stuff.

I too am your weight and height. I have a '10 1200 low and got rid of the stock seat because i kept sliding back. I bought a HD super reduced reach solo seat that fit me perfectly except it was a bit tuff on the tush. I sent the seat to Mean City Cycles in SC . . . they have a website . . . they replaced the seat innards with memory foam and I even asked them to shave off a 1/2 inch so i can be completely flatfooted. It works for me. I tried the saddleman heels-down renegade solo seat - bought it second hand from this forum - but i still was on tippy toes on that seat. I was surprised. So i sold it and simply took my super reduced reach seat and had it slightly modified at Mean City Cycles. Just a thought...for you to consider.
