Cool Combination Digital Speedo/Analog Tacho #70900274

I've just discovered the above 'clock', which looks jolly interesting, for those of us with only a speedo on our Sporty. Promises a veritable data centre, with:
  • analogue tacho,
  • digital speedo,
  • odometer/tripmeter,
  • miles-to-empty readings,
  • easy-to-read segmented fuel display,
  • gear position indicator,
  • clock.
It even has changeable colour back-lighting and can be swapped from mph to kph and back again, when crossing International borders - how slick is that? Sounds almost too good to be true - how on earth have we got by without one?!

There's bound to be at least one of us with one, so please share a photo of the display, all lit up, with the umpteen features visible. Many thanks. Mrs B loves her technology, so I can see some major browny points available.......

Well thanks.. now I have to find one of these and work the pricing into my budget. Hell, if it comes with signal indicators integrated then maybe I can do away with my entire bar clamp assembly and just mount this one where I planned to mount the old one. This forum is going to be the death of my bank account lmao

***** EDIT *****

Looked it up and half of the functions do not work for 04-06 models. Saves me $300 lmao

Red face

Sorry 'bout that, but the saving is good news - of a sort!

I just installed one of these last week along with the fuel sending unit. Absolutely love it, by far one of the best mods I've done yet.

I'll just put it towards something else for the bike so maybe saying it saves me money is maybe wording it wrong. Maybe a powdercoat setup lol

Here's a shot of mine from last year. I love it. Automatically lights up as it gets dark out. I set the colors to match the lights in my BMW. Having a fuel gauge is great, too.

Here's mine with fuel gauge and range displayed. You can see where some of the warning lights are located. You can separately set colors for the tach needle, backlight and LCD display. The bike needs to be moving for the gear indicators to show.

You will need the Fuel Level Sensor P/N 61200008 for the fuel gauge and range to work.

So extra parts are needed for it to be full compatible? Hmmmm... I wonder if I actually could make it work on my bike..
