Default Is there a recommended or proper order to install stage 1?

I know what products I plan on installing, however I won't be able to purchase them all at once.

If I make multiple purchases over time to complete the stage 1 is there a particular order in which I need to install them? I appreciate the help and I'm almost certain this question has been asked several times before. Thanks for your patience, the advice is much appreciated!

I'd probably put your pipes on first. You should be able to get away with riding without a tune. Then when you put your air cleaner on and go for the tune you I'll have the whole setup on.

no order, do what you want. even after you get it all on the bike you can get away with no tune for a while. this bike is not going to drastically change the way it runs without you changing the fuel mapping. as always, take your time and resist the urge to buy vance and hines short shots

+1 on that

Air cleaner wont really do anything without the complete setup.

The tuner would imply you tune your bike for a stock setup. It might be just a little bit different but not that much. All the bikes, out of factory, are not tuned properly...

The exhaust would give you that nice sound.

I did just that. Put the exhaust, and waited a bit for the complete stage one.

thank you both for the quick replies tmultra, cvaria!

I do like the short shots, however was also looking closely at the crusher mavericks by kuryakyn. Anyone with experience using either I would love to hear any feedback!

thanks derf! So since I live in a seasonal riding state, I should be okay with getting pipes without the tuner and air cleaner, if that was my first purchase? I'm just concerned about any damages or wear and tear that could be prevented.

Rule of thumb is you can do the pipes, or the air cleaner. If you do both, you'll need a tuner.

Take a look at Samson hellraisers too. I just put them on mine and I really like them. Got mine brand new on eBay for $377
