Default 03 sportster 100 year anniversary

So i picked up this sporty a couple months back and ive been having issues on issues with her. Namely, she doesnt like to start and it seems like shes instantly flooded. Ive done oil change, rebuilt carb, changed exhaust. I mean i messed with this carb for a whole week trying to figure out how to tune her by the air/fuel mix screw. I finally got her running like a top yesterday after finding the slide diaphram was torn so i replaced rebuilt and reinstalled. Put her on a tender and this morning try to start and i killed my battery trying to start her over and over. Put a charger on her for 15 mins and fired right up. Let her run for 20 mins, killed her and now shes doing the same dang thing. Any ideas?
