Thinking of buying a Forty Eight...
Hey guys!
So I've been drooling over the sexy look of the 48's. My old boss has one and absolutely loves it.
Currently I ride a Ninja 650. I purchased it, had a small honeymoon phase with it being my first motorcycle, and quickly got over it.
I truly do not like it, however I still ride it just to get out. I love riding and if I had something I loved loved to ride, I'd probably ride more than I drive my truck when it isn't 110+ degrees here in Las Vegas.
I test drove a Harley 48 and was in love with it. I wanted to walk out with it that day and it took everything out of me to do tons and tons of research before I do anything, which I have been.
The $10,000+ sticker steers me away from buying new so I'm looking at used. It's been a few weeks since I've found anything until today.
A gentleman is selling his 2010 Harley Davidson 48 for $7,400. It has 21,000 miles along with a cold air intake and V&H exhaust.
Very sexy bike, has every receipt ever for the bike as well as always being serviced religiously at HD. Nothing at all wrong with the bike. No scratches or anything. Never been down
Reason he's selling since he's got a little one on the way.
What do you guys think? Is this an okay deal?

Wow you guys are QUICK!
He said his bank appraised it for $7900 so idk if he'd budge.
He owes $7,380 which is why he's asking $7,400.

I've bought a ton of used bikes. Most of them were not local, and about 200 miles away.
Check CL in other cities that you can drive to and back in a day. U haul rents bike trailers for around $15 per 24 hours.
Gave a buddy this advice when looking for Jet Skis. He found a clean Honda ski with less then 5 hours on it, 225 miles away. He was super stoked and is ecstatic with his purchase.
I recently picked up a used Miata, also 200 miles away. Got a much better deal then dealing local.
Never just text someone when dealing on a CL purchase. Texting is fine for initial contact, after that talk to the person. You can get a much better feel for the person and deal this way.
