I know there's guys out there racing around K models, and if you want to be strictly "Sportster" the '57 model year. Tons of old Ironheads running around, mine is definitely not the oldest.

But right now my 1972 is being totally rebuilt rather than riding around after last season.

Not even close to the oldest, but I love my '93 and wouldn't buy a "new" one for any price........okay, maybe a '94.

My oldest is only a 2003 883R. The next is a 09 XR1200. A 14 XL1200T and a 16 Roadster completes my collection of Sporties However at 75 I may be one of the "older" riders of Sportsters.

Default Mine is older

Mines older maybe not oldest. I ride a 91 1200 everyday as I don't like cages. And like others it not leaving me I'll keep it forever. I've had it long enough that the salesperson at my Harley shop have quit trying to sell me another. I tell them mine has 3 things I like. 1 it's carburetor, 2 has no computer, and most of all has no payment book. However my wife says I need a Heritage. It would be more comfortable for us on longer trips. I have to agree on that and when I find the one I like I will have that. Besides any smart man knows not to argue with the wife. And do and get what we told do if she wants me to have another bike I'm up for that.

Man I love that. Beautiful. I had a 74 KZ 400 a while ago, wish I still had it.
