Default Picked up my first Sportster!

Picked up my first Sportster (and first Harley) today! It's an 04 with 8000 miles. Coming from riding small Honda Twins for about 5 years now and I'm really excited!

Bought it from a dealer in the area and its running pretty darn good. Some scratches and dings on the tank but that just means I won't be totally bummed when I ding it, ha!

How it sits now:

Looks identical to mine though mine is a 2006. Although i should say it looked like mine before I started chopping it. Congrats on the new ride

Nice bike! The Sportsters are a BLAST to ride, I'm trying to talk my CFO (spouse) into letting me get one again. Scratches and dings just mean it has some character.

Be safe! Have fun!

Congratulations and welcome to the madness
Pretty nice condition for a 2004
Looks like there are some kind of covers missing just below your rocker push rod tubes?

I need one of those in my life again. That's a beauty. Do not sell it! 883 or 1200?
