I will be removing the chrome strip off the tank of my 2004 sportster 1200. Therefore, I bought a new pop-up gas cap to replace the other larger one.

The new cap fits perfectly in the tank hole, and also tightens up pretty snug.... But it doesn't "click". Is this going to be an issue? Shouldn't all caps click?
