Default 2017 Iron XL883N Stock exhaust Mod (plugs & catalyst delete)

Went out to find a spot to take some photos of the bike with success. Then, I decided what the heck, and made a video of my 2017 Iron 883 with modified stock exhaust for everyone to hear.

Best part of this video, no talking and no music.

The stock exhaust mod consist of drilling out the soft plug all the way flush of the diameter of the baffle using a 1-1/8" hole saw.

Also... I drilled out the same 1-1/8'' hole all the way through the factory catalyst.

I think it sounds just right for being basically stock.

I will make another, under more of a higher load because unfortunately the parking lot wasn't as large as my galaxy S7 makes it seem... so i apologize in advance that I didn't get to go WOT.

By the way, the engine was already warmed up and driven about 20 miles prior to this video.

Hope you all enjoy.

Video, warmed up, revs, and some quick pulls.

Here are the photos I took this evening. Dayum I love this 883!

My favorite...

Hopefully some of you all will get involved, get lots of views but no comments. By all means please feel free to ask questions, I will answer to the best of my ability.

Thanks man,

Well you should definitely like this next video and some pictures I did today.

Wish more people would make videos of their exhaust setups under load without background music and all that talking...

Save the talking for the description box.. people want to hear the motorcycle!

I made these videos for the public because just about every ''exhaust'' video I come across pertaining to the sportster, there is mainly talking and such... maybe i'm impatient, but I just want to hear the engine.

Also, i haven't seen many videos of modified stock exhaust which is what most people can afford.

I believe this is just the right sound level and tone that people are looking for who don't want to go aftermarket just yet.

Those with emissions, leave the cats, obviously. Or drill em out like I did and pick up a used set of stockers for the sniffer cops.

Default New video of modded exhaust, FLY bys under heavier loads

So I found a back road near where I live (niceville, Fl) near Eglin AFB. I decided to make an actual sound clip video.

NO Music, NO TALKING, just all sounds of das sportster.

Stock mufflers, modified with plugs drilled out as well as 1-1/8" hole of catalyst drilled out as well.

Only other mods are NGK Iridiums DCPR7EIX and they are indexed.

Runs great and sounds even better now that I hear what it sounds like during a fly by under load.

Heres the vid and some pics I took from my 56 mile long journey today.

Pics from the rec park today at Destin bay, you can see the Destin, FL mid bay bridge.

Extras of Destin, Fl bay area, love my home!
