Thanks cvaria for setting this up. Just ordered mine in red. I will be curious to hear about how the installations go since I am a novice to wrenching on the bike

Spoke to Tommy and he said he's been using scotch locks to loop in the integrated turn signals.

Never used those before. What will that do if you loop the integrated TS...make all lights in the unit run/brake?

retain your stock turns and give you the integrated turns as well. but, yeah... didnt think about the other side of that.... hmmm. i will be the guinea pig here and sort it out.. blow some fuses so you guys dont have to.

You're just tapping into an existing wire "in parallel" (just like the posi-taps do). The added set of lights will duplicate the "action" of the existing lights

right but, i never even consider what would happen when not trafficating. may be super shimple... may not.... for me anyway. i have the cd triple play on my bike. will have to see. i dont expect explosions. will see on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

I am also running my turn signals in my bags along with the stock TS so not sure what would happen if I run these on the same line. Perhaps a good thing is I tapped the bag lights before main harness. We'll see.

Scotch Locks are worse than Power-taps. Plastic hinge. Plastic latch. Potential stranded-wire cutting interface. Exposure to moisture. If I had to use one or the other, I'd go Power-tap. My $.02.

Could have been worse..at least it was a "beveled and smoked" soup can.
