Kuryakyn velociraptor and external breather?
Hello all,
Finally decided on a air cleaner for my Iron. Kuryakyn velociraptor.
I would like to install an external breather system (either to catch-can or filter) instead of venting gases back into the breather.
It seems as simple as routing the tubes externally instead of back into the breather BUT what do I do to occlude the open fittings on the breather itself to keep from sucking in unfiltered air?
(Admittedly I haven’t opened package yet to actually see the fittings)
I’d ask if anyone has done this with this model of air cleaner, but that’s probably the dumbest question.
thanks in advance and a happy New Years to all.

That looks INCREDIBLE with braided hoses! Work of art in itself. Did you have to “cap” or otherwise block holes on the air cleaners mounting ring to prevent air leaking in? (Sorry- I haven’t given mine a good look out of the packaging yet)
thanks for the fast response and that looks AMAZING! I knew that was the right air cleaner for me!

the "vents" and fittings for you to connect - I assume you would block those when using the stock version.
See picture #2 in the pdf.

I'm using the "wide" or "thick" spacer ring from a Carb'd version - supposedly helps torque....
Amazon link;
good luck,

I'm not using the stock "out of the box" spacer ring. Read the instructions, the stock spacer ring will have
