Tank lift and wire tuck

There shouldn't be any difference between keyless and keyed.
Nothing regards your bike being keyless will be affected including your starting concerns as you have a Canbus bike and this works in a considerably different way electrically to earlier Sportsters. As long as you don't go cutting any wires that is!
Relocating the coil is for cosmetic purposes as it looks a bit strange when you've lifted the tank. So you don't have to relocate it but moving it isn't that big of a job and looks way better.

Here is a really good thread on doing a wire tuck. It is good info for keyed or keyless, for tank lift or no tank lift.
