Trying to figure out how to add pics of bikes to post. May have to call one of kids to help me figure it out.

J and p has a smooth top one, part number 720-363. Also one with a dash, part number 720-330 and that one is 3.9 gallons. When I was in high school the rage was putting fat Bob tanks on Sportsters. Every other sporty had one. Brings back memories... And springers are sweet. Post pictures please.

Edit: I want to add I'm not sure how high these tanks sit. The smooth top one may work for you.

Newcomers can't post pics until they have a few posts up, which I reckon you have just about achieved. When you start a new post scroll down to see the menu for adding pics.

sportster customs with the 4.5 gal tanks are pretty low profile.

For the small number of times that you have to maneuver the bike at full steering lock in a parking lot or something would it be an option to just add material to the steering lock tabs so it just doesn't turn quite as sharp?

Appreciate the info guys. I will look at J&P again. Will also keep looking for link to add pics of my Sporty. As far as the turn radius with the springer, the main problem is turning into a sharp 90 degree parking space while still moving. Springer is stock length wide glide. Which means it is +2 over on the Sporty. Thanks again guys.

That's a killer scoot. Springers look the best on sportys and dynas in my opinion.
