Mustang Vintage Solo or Corbin Classic Solo

Take the mustang
I have had the Corbin dual tour on my xl, and my fltr.
My wife has the Corbin classic solo on her bike.
I switched to the mustang wide tour as I found the ride far far more comfortable.
Guess I was just getting old, but the mustang on my xl significantly gives me a better ride

Just received my Mustang wide vintage solo tour with back rest today. Definitely think it fits and looks great on the 1200 custom. Feels like it's going to give me a lot more support over the stock seat, just sitting on it in the garage. Now if we could get some dry weather for a real test run!

I have a air hawk I carry in my saddle bags for when I get butt fatigue. I got it when I had stock seats it helped alot. But do not use it much now that I got a saddleman seat.

I have both the Wide Vintage Solo by Mustang and the Classic Solo by Corbin for my 14 Street Glide Special. The Mustang sits you higher and is softer than the Corbin. I think the Corbin has a better seating position than the Mustang. The Mustang definately has a better (adjustable) backrest.
If I go on long tours I use the Mustang. If I ride less than 500 miles a day I use the Corbin. New Corbins are softer if you add stitching (flames) on the seat as they use a layer of softer foam as the top pad.
Corbin seats also look MUCH better in my opinion.

The Vintage isn't particularly comfortable for long trips, but it's a huge improvement on the stock seat plus Airhawk.

Again thanks for all your input. I tried the HD circulator pad and all it did was keep my a** cool.
Pulled the trigger on a Mustang wide vintage (touring) solo with backrest #79429 and $450 in the hole...lol We will see if it is worth every penny.
