Default Is 06 Sportster fuel injected?

My 06 1200L carb model rocks, does HD make a FI model in 06 as well? I am just curious, can't trust those informations on the web, I remember seeing this 06 FI thing somewhere. Cheers! Alex

The sportster went to FI in 07. The BT's started using FI a couple years earlier, not sure exactly what year.

Don't think so. I believe the O2 sensor was added in 06.

Aftermarket pipes are different for 06 - up and include the O2 bung.

Actually the BT's have been using sequential port fuel injection for quite a few years.

The first production model BT to use EFI was the 1995 30th Anniversity Ultra Classic, and in 1996 EFI was more widely used.

Fuel injection in the Harley lineup is not new, and has been around for over 12 years.

No, there is no 06 FI model. Only 07 FI models. This of course is only referreing to the sportsters, and not any other bikes.
