Default A question about Forcewinder A/C

I have a bro who has a 06 Sportster 1200C, he just got the Forcewinder A/C kit and is having some problems.
Right where the 2 bolts attach the crank case breather to the engine, he has oil leaking out. He tried silicone on the washers and loctite and tightened the bolts down to correct specs. Still leaking oil. I was wondering if anyone has the same A/C kit or a similar problem.
Any help would be great.
Thanks lot.[/align]

What does his dip stick read when cold?

It should be 1/2 way up the stick.

That's a natural place for an oil leak. I don't use any washers on my set up and it seems to be OK (but I use banjo bolts.) Is your friend using banjo bolts or the inverted U shaped pipe? The inverted U can cause trouble.

The oil is 1/2 when cold.

He is using banjo bolts, but has washers, maybe if he takes off the washers it will be better. Did you use any type of silicone between the breather and A/C?

Thanks alot!!

[sm=exactly.gif]Works for Tranny lines on a car... should be the same for the breather bolst on a bike.
