I had one installed on my 07 1200C back in April along with V&H slipons, no problems yet.

I don't have (thank god) an EFI Sporty, but from what I read about the V&H fuel pack I note 2 things:

1 - The canned maps appear to (logically) be tailored for use with V&H pipes.
2 - The module appears to be a b!tch to physically install. ( lack of room).

They may be good units, I personally don't know but If I had to purchase a tuner I would give a serious look at the Thundermax unit. It's getting very good reviews.

Your right about the generic maps. I talked to a Harley guy and he said they have sent some back to Vance Hines. I guess I'd be better off getting the Power Commander.

That may well be a better choice. I mentioned the Thundermax, I don't know the price difference, because as I understand it, once you get the basic parameters set on the Tmax it has the ability to "auto tune" itself. A fellow forum member I know, who has tried other units, has one on his Dyna he says it's really sweet. He'sengineering type guy that knows his chit.

Had one on mime. Sold it on ebay. It got rid of most of the popping on decel but killed throttle response.

With the drag bars you have, I would go with either the PCIII or Thundemax. I have The FuelPak, but I also have V&H Bigshots exhaust and it works pretty great for the money. The problem that most people have with the PCIII and Thundermax is the price. Keep in mind that although the PCIII is cheaper to originally purchase, you will not need to get the Thundermax dyno-tuned, and we all know how much that can run each time.

Thundermax is the only way to go, i have one on mine and it simply replaces the factory ECM. you just remove the ECM fuse, remove the factory ECM and plug the factory harness plug staight into the Thundermax and go.
none of this piggy backing injector plugs and ugly extra wiring and dyno tuning, Bretho.

i have one, i cannot get rid of the god damn decel popping despite several calls to v&h and setting adjustments. i have the shortshot pipes (with quiet baffles) on, currently the standard SE air cleaner. I initially had the SE Heavy Breather AC on, but I felt that was giving the bike too much air.

when the thing decel pops, at night i see blue flames out the back.

i don't know if i'm running lean or rich, most seem to think lean. however, i loaded the standard tune into the thing just to see if more fuel got rid of the problem. it actually made it worse. so that tends to tell me i am running rich, not lean.

i don't know. i'm getting frustrated.
