I'll mark my first anniversary with the Sporty in about 2 weeks. The weather this October, especially this past week, has been above much above average and I think we set record high temps for the past 2 or 3 days...Nothing at all like the weatherwe had a year ago!! It was about 86 degrees this afternoon and it wasn't much cooler yesterday. The forecast is for similar temps over the next few days. It's so warm in the morning I removed the weenie shield two days ago and I don't plan on putting it back until the morning temps dip back to normal. I've also been riding to work in my long sleeve denim shirt instead ofmy leather jacket, I've put the jacket back in the closet.Is anyone else enjoying our extended summer in the northeast???

In Ohio it feels like we moved someplace else - this weather is just too good. Where do we vote for global warming??

 

Hell, it's suppose to hit 91 here in Illinois this afternoon. I'm not gonna complain either. I just wish I wasn't stuck in this stupid hospital bed and could take advantage of this great weather[:@].

 

I feel for ya' Terry.It sucks when the head honcho of our forum is laid up and can't get out there.I hope you can get some miles in before the really cold temps arrive.
