Default shock length on a XL1200L

I'm looking at progressive shocks for my wife's bike. The progressive website says the stock length of a XL1200L is 11.5 inches. Can any of you verify this? The website also says the stock length of a XL1200N is 11 inches. I'd like to raise my wife by 0.5" so she has a better ride.

Thanks,
Richard

Your stock shock length is actually 11.75" The progressive replacement is considered to be 11.5" but you can go up to 12.00" without a problem. Progressive shocks come in 1/2" increments.
