RE: screaming eagle ignigtion module?
IMO, the best MOD you can make on a harley engine is a *SE ignition module.
A stock ignitionmakes forhard starting, poor low end response, back firing and excessive vibration from the motor.
The stock Harley ignition is an EPA guysdream. Harley put it on to make these guys happy. For a rider tho, its junk. The SE ignition module just plugs in. It costs about $100 and will fix all of the above listed problems plus you can rev it around 1000 rpms higher. For another $50, you can get the SE coils. These are not all that unless you'regonna to run your engine above 5,000 rpm very often (I have them and I do)...
*or better than like maybe say a Crane ...

from what ive read the coils are for the 03 and under models..you recommended them to me before and i looked them up and couldnt find the..someone told me that on the 03 and under it was a change that had to be done if you did the screamin eagle module due to some resistace thing in the stock coils..i did do the screamin eagle wires and plugs a while back, and did notice a great difference with the ignition module(almost scary) best 120 bucks i ever laid out on my bike(besides the big city thunder baffles) if you decide to get it you will be happy...

RE: screaming eagle ignigtion module?
I saw that one on ebay too. It was for an 03 and older and I thought about picking it up. unfortunately I won't have internet service till Wed after tonight due to moving so I can't watch it. [:@]
I sure wouldn't mind getting one and the coil as well. I probably won't worry too much till I get cams.
