Default 1967 sportster value

I am considering trading a guy some construction labor for a 1967 sportster standard model. It is un-restored but in good shape, black, aftermarket 60's chrome, drag pipes, 22k, re-gasketed 2 or 3 years ago, needs very little tlc. I think it would make a great custom project.

What would you say its real world market value would be?

bout the same as a used one nowadays, around 4-5K. They're not as valuable as a panhead or anything, and if it's 60's, it also depends on how many CC's. They made several different models the first few decades they were out in various sizes. But, if it's as you describe it, 4-5K would be a fair price as you said it's got fairly low miles and needs onlyminimal work.

That would be fun to own and make a project out. Nothing cathes the eye better than an old sporty, even the ones that aren't in the best of shape.

Thanks for the input guys. This is kind of what I thought, about 3-5k. The guy thinks it's worth 10k. I'm offering about 5k worth of labor. I'll let him do some research and come back to me. Sorry I don't have any pictures.
