great post - thanks for sharing your experiences with us. I agree that your "friends" shouldn't have run off from you. not everytime. maybe from one rest stop to another just to run out their bikes - but not everytime.
oh, and to the guy that said you just did a trailer thing... my gosh, you rode 1500 miles to Key West - doesn't sound like a trailer queen to me!!
and to the mudslingers - I think they're just jealous and need to get a life.
