What do you guys/girls think about a bike that has flame decals on it rather then paint?

I will have it painted eventually but not sure what I want.. so I thought about putting cool graphics on it.. maybe that will hwep me decide what I want on it in the futrue before I go thru the painting process.

I was thinking pink/yellow..flames or something crazy lie that.. (like me)

Does anyone know a place on line to get them? I have searched FOREVER.. with no real luck .. all I can find is small ones..

I dont' know about decals, but if you go to a body shop, you could get Vinyls made of them and put on. It will still be a bit expensive, but its a lot cheaper than a paint job you don't want. As for sticker type decals, I don't think they make them. At least if they do, I can't tell you where to find them.

I have a few friends that have used them and they have no complaints.

 

Look at my oil cover in the pic. I am happy with mine. Lots of applications out there to pick from. Some people like them, and some just don't.

 

Stickers are cheesy

 

Personally, decals look cheap and half-*** to me, but if you're trying to decide what you like it's certainly cheaper than paint.

 

55badger +1... just my opinion, go big or go home... how about some racing stripes? that may look cool ina decal?

 

I like the red/yellow ones pictured on the winners cycle link above, would look good if you clear coated over them.
